sometimes, I get my own birthday cake.  in this case--cupcakes--from sprinkles.  the cinnamon sugar is my favorite.

shopping for hours on my birthday with these on my feet isn't a good idea.

but shopping with my sister is always good, even if my feet are killing me.

my husband will absolutely choose to get me something techy if there is even the remotest possibility that i might want something techy.  {pink nano}

i have divine friends.

Yesterday, Weston and I got his valentine mailbox ready.  We wrapped a shoebox in red wrapping paper, then put black stickers all over it to spell out words. 

On the top I handed him the letters for the word "heartbreaker."  I asked him if he knew what heart breaker meant.  He said he didn't, so I explained that a heartbreaker was a cute boy that all the girls liked, but he didn't like the girls back

"But, Mommy" he says, "I like the girls."

Not surprised a bit.

A Warning Voice

Shuffling through the line for one of the rides at Disneyland, Keaton had a chance to read a warning sign which stated, "Expectant mothers should not ride."

Pointing at me, he warned, "Expert mothers should not ride."
