Now that all the kiddos are in school, I have more time to wonder.
This morning I wondered how long it takes to make my bed, with all the pillow art I've got going on.
So, I timed myself.
2 minutes 45 seconds.
Almost three minutes...doesn't seem to long, but then I wondered...
If I make my bed 5 times a week (some mornings it just does not get done!) then that is almost 15 minutes a week, an hour a month and 12 hours a year just making my bed!
Hmmm....
I wonder if all the pillow primping is worth that kind of time???

Yep! It is.
I'm a big fan of that little clock.
I agree with Dad. You get to enjoy it all day.
Of course! I nearly make my bed everyday so I can enjoy it! However, after looking at your bed, I think that I may need some more pillows. :)
Totally worth it; it is an art form. Besides, what else are you going to do with those few minutes each day?
Not worth your time sis, don't you have maids to do that type of meanial work?
You make me want to get my room finished.
Hi Sara. I don't know if you remember me or not. My name is Abby Eaton. I lived in AZ a few years back and we were in the same ward before they split it. During some Enrichment Activity or something someone showed me some pictures of your house. I kind of remember your decorating style was shabby chic (at least for your girls rooms). Random, I know. Well, I came across your blog through well... lots of people but Meredith and Shane (we were neighbors with them), Staci and David, Melissa and Jeff, Angie and Chris....
Well, I look at your blog from time to time to watch your little family grow. I am in the middle of decorating my little girl's room with a shabby chic theme and remembered REALLY liking how you decorated..... I was hoping (if it hasn't changed) if you could send pictures of some of your ideas my way. Sorry for such the long post.

The time is probably not worth it to many--maybe most of us. But I know you, and I know the wonderful way you express yourself in your home, and I'm sure, in this case, it is worth it.
